Well, of course you do, especially when hoses or cables are non-detachable from the machine or equipment, making the regular firesleeve, also called pyrojacket, unable to slide over them.
The solution is to install Firesleeve with Fastener. It is originally a single piece of fabric and transforms to a sleeve by the manufactured fastener. There is no need to disassemble the hoses or cables when installing the firesleeve. This also allows to bundle the hoses and cables easily when the firesleeve acts as an electric arc furnace cable cover (EAF cable cover) in heavy industries such as steel making.
The three commonest fasteners are Velcro, Brass Zipper and Snap Button.

To prevent the potential risk mentioned above, we, Hantai, offer an optional end wrap sealing product – Silicone Rubber Self-fusing Tape. The edge can be sealed by a spiral wrap of the tape, completely protected from exposure to contamination. Molten splash slides off the wrap simply. The wrap can be removed easily if necessary, allowing the firesleeve to be opened or removed from the installation, but without leaving glue on the sleeve.
