The HANTAI Expandable Fiberglass Sleeve is constructed with E-glass fiber yarns and coated with an acrylic saturant, providing better abrasion resistant performance. It can operate continuously at 1020℉ (550℃) and withstand peak temperatures up to 1200℉ (650℃).
Except for its excellent flexibility, the sleeve can expand by at least 25% of its nominal size. This makes it easy to install over fittings, couplings and other in-line obstructions that standard sleeves can’t handle. Moreover, it offers better heat protection at higher continuous temperatures compared to firesleeve.
It’s suitable for light molten splash applications, but not recommended for extreme molten splash scenarios.
