In the vehicles, when engines produce power, they produce heat as well. Components under the hood, like lines, hoses, cables and wires, will be damaged easily by the heat and possibly also the abrasions, moisture, oil and dirt.
Hantai Fire Sleeve is one of the recommended protective sleeves to the above hazards. It is commonly used as a fireproof sleeve to protect the fuel, transmission and brake lines and electrical wires.
Thanks to the construction of the high-temperature resistant fiberglass sleeve substrate and the thick formula silicone rubber coating, Hantai Fire Sleeve is able to work continuously at 260℃ (500℉) and delivers an excellent thermal insulation. In addition, it can protect against the abrasions, solvents and contamination.
Hantai Firesleeve can provide protection against short-term flame blasts and help retarding the penetration of the flame. The critical components sleeved with Hantai Fire Sleeve are allowed to continue to work for a short time, even under the threat of being burn-through.
The thick wall silicone rubber coating is a good protector to the abrasions, moisture, oil and dirt. Meanwhile, it can insulate the electrical wiring, with the dielectricity strength ≥10KV.
