Different kinds of Fiberglass Sleeve

Firesleeve:

Fiberglass Sleeve coated with silicone rubber, also known as Firesleeve, is made of braided fiberglass with silicone rubber coating. Its excellent thermal insulation and fireproof performance make Firesleeve effectively reduces heat energy losses and protects employees from burns. The high-temperature fire sleeve features great performance in terms of wear resistance thermal insulation, and flame retardance, which helps to provide effective protection, buying time for subsequent maintenance during accidence. Firesleeve is an ideal solution to protect hoses, cables and pipes against harsh environments of high temperature, molten metal splashes, flame, sparks, etc.

Velcro Fire Sleeve

A featured advantage of the Velcro Fire Sleeve is its ease of accessibility, as it can be field-connected in the factory to ensure structural integrity and proper adaptation, that means installing a thermal protection sleeve does not necessitate stopping the device, removing hoses, or cables.

To use, simply open the internally sewn fire-retardant Velcro (h) and start bonding from the middle to ensure the insulating effect is sealed. This process does not affect the equipment and significantly saves installation time. The Velcro Fire Sleeve is commonly used in large smelting equipment, high-temperature metal hoses, automotive wiring harnesses, and generator sets.

Fire Tape

Fire Tape is made of fiberglass tape coated with silicone rubber. It can be used to wrap hoses or cables of any diameter. Applying Fire Tape in a spiral wrap with 30-50% overlap to the hoses or cables allows for convenient and quick installation, eliminating the need to detach the hoses and cables or disable the device.

Silica Fiber Sleeve

The Silica Fiber Sleeve is made of high-purity silica fibers woven into a tubular protective sleeve, with an SiO2 content of≥96%. It is utilized for insulation in high-temperature contact zones. Various molding methods significantly aid in meeting the maintenance and repair needs of diverse production sites. Installing the Silica Fiber Sleeve is simple and convenient; simply insert it into the rear ends of the hose / tube using a supporting fix.

Parameters: It has a short-time temperature resistance of up to 1650℃ and a continuous operating temperature of up to 1000℃.
