- Chemical & Weather Resistance: Thick silicone coating resists hydraulic fluids, lubricating oils, fuels, ozone, and UV radiation.
- Extreme Heat Protection: Withstands peak temperatures up to 1650°C (3000°F) for short bursts, protecting critical components.
- Industry-Specific Design: Optimized size range for automotive wiring harnesses and small-to-medium industrial hoses.
DESCRIPTION
HANTAI® Firesleeve Priority Grade is constructed with knitted bulk fiberglass yarns in a flexible substrate and coated with upgraded silicone rubber—delivering superior thermal insulation performance compared to standard firesleeve. Engineered to protect hoses, wires, and cables from high heat and occasional flame exposure, this premium firesleeve resists hydraulic fluids, lubricating oils, and fuels. It insulates piping/hosing systems to reduce energy loss, safeguards workers from burns, and enables safe bundling of wires/hoses/cables. The thick silicone formulation repels molten splash, slag, welding splatter, electrical/grinding sparks, and contamination—while also providing protection against ozone and UV radiation.

APPLICATION

HANTAI Firesleeve Priority Grade Frequently Asked Questions
---
Q1: What is the difference between Priority Grade and Standard Grade firesleeve?
Priority Grade uses a knitted bulk fiberglass substrate. Standard Grade uses a braided structure. The knitted design traps more air inside the sleeve. This provides superior thermal insulation compared to the standard version.
Q2: What temperatures can the Priority Grade firesleeve withstand?
This sleeve handles continuous working temperatures up to 260°C (500°F). It also survives extreme peak temperatures of 1650°C (3000°F) for short periods. This ensures maximum safety for your critical components.
Q3: Is the Priority Grade firesleeve flexible and easy to install?
Yes, it is highly flexible. The knitted construction offers more elasticity than braided sleeves. This makes it perfect for tight spaces and complex cable sets, such as automotive engine compartments.
Q4: Does this firesleeve resist oils and industrial chemicals?
Absolutely. The thick silicone rubber coating resists hydraulic fluids and lubricating oils. It also blocks fuels and common industrial chemicals. This prevents contamination and extends the service life of your hoses.
Q5: Which industries typically use the Priority Grade firesleeve?
It is a top choice for the automotive, aerospace, and precision machinery industries. Professionals use it to protect engine wiring, exhaust systems, and sensitive sensors from intense heat.
Q6: What size range do you offer for this product?
We provide inner diameters from 3/8″ (10mm) up to 2″ (50mm). This range specifically targets automotive wiring harnesses and small-to-medium industrial hoses.
